More info Artist in residence Marwan Rechmaoui will be in conversation with Hans Ulrich Obrist discussing the artist’s practice.

Marwan Rechmaoui is a Lebanese artist who has lived in the Abu Dhabi, Boston and New York, and is now based in Beirut. His work was featured in the Saatchi’s ‘Unveiled: New Art from the Middle East’ show in 2009. His work has also been shown at the 27th Sao Paolo Biennial (2006), 7th Sharjah Biennial (2007), Tent, Rotterdam (2007), Palais des Beaux Arts, Brussels (2008), Homeworks, Ashkal Alwan, Beirut (2003 and 2010)

More info The Lebanese-American poet, essayist and visual artist, Etel Adnan convenes an evening of readings and music.

The evening will include readings from Etel Adnan’s poetry collection Seasons (2005) and her memoir In the Heart of the Heart of Another Country (2005). It will also include music from Gavin Bryars’ song cycle Adnan Songbook (1996), from his album Cadman Requiem (1998), which set a group of eight Love Poems from her coll…ection The Indian Never Had a Horse and Other Poems (1985).
